Reporter for FortiGate creates a diagnostic log file that can assist Fastvue Support when troubleshooting errors and issues. A new log is created each day and compressed once it is a day old. Diagnostic logs are stored for seven days before they are deleted.
To troubleshoot errors or crashes, set the logging level to Verbose and reproduce the error. To troubleshoot data import issues, set the logging level to Full, and let the software run for five minutes to collect some syslog data. Set the logging back to Normal (default) to prevent the diagnostic logs becoming too large.
Upload the diagnostic logs (zipped) to Fastvue Support along with a description of your issue.
